BOOM. It’s Boomarung!

Posted: October 11, 2008

Welcome to my travel blog, Boomarung! Some of you might remember, wait, ok, very few of you would remember, the previous incarnation of Boomarung! It started out as a very serious example of how easy it would be to set up a fairly robust travel site. Of course, the hardest problem with running a site like that is creating the content! That’s why, this time around, I’ve chosen a different route.

Travel writing for myself… and you too. I suppose.

I decided I wanted something more than a proof of concept, but I needed something I could actually have a chance in hell of keeping up with. I’m really interested in technology, travel and writing so I decided to make it part of my little Bottom Line network. I imagine this site will be updated a bit less often than the others, but I think I’ll have a lot of fun doing it!

The Bottom Line

I love to travel. I love to write. I’ve explored the idea of a travel blog several times in my life and I’ve always found it a bit too time consuming to keep up on a regular basis. Even though I don’t travel as much as I like (at least not the fun kind of travel) there is still so much to write about. I was approaching it as something I was writing for others primarily and while that is still true, I think this time around I’ll be doing it for myself.

Hopefully that’ll help me keep it up!

Boomarung! is a travel journal.

Boomarung! is written by D. Keith Robinson a Creative Director living in Seattle, Wa. Its sole purpose it to explore the world of travel through blogging. You'll find tips, reviews, notes and stories from around the world and more, hopefully updated on a semi-regular basis. Want to follow along? Grab the RSS feed!
